If you’ve been stalking me since summer(lol. as if), you would know that DLS-HSI and Nursing wasn’t my best choice for college; as a matter of fact, I almost gave up on it. And looking back at the first 4 months of what was supposed to be my “‘life-changing experiences” in college, I can say that, well, yeah, things has changed in a good way. However, I cannot say that I am completely happy in my disposition, because I not. I’m just glad that I gave this [nursing and DLS-HSI] a shot because despite not being completely happy, I am having fun. And I’m trying to enjoy whatever is that is given to me, be it an adversity or a blessing (although I consider adversities as blessings because, as cliché as it may sound, it helps me become stronger).
Perhaps you’re asking me why I’m writing this, well, I quite a forgetful lady so what better way to remember things than to write it in your own blog. Also because after tonight, I only have one day to enjoy my carefree life so what better way to end it than productivity, right?
One of the things that really hit me or made me realize how big of a change I’ve made was when Sir Ecko, former CCF teacher and YFC coordinator in Seton, said these words to me, “You finally came out of your shell!” You do not know how great I felt when I heard him say that. And you know what? He might be right because in the span of 4 months, I have overcame my fear of heights by being a flyer (for those who don’t know, they’re the ones being tossed in the air during cheer leading competitions), I have shown that I can be a leader by being the batch’s Business Manager (but to be honest, I haven’t really done a lot for the batch, sorry guys! :c), I have finally gained self-worth—and proven to myself that I can be girly sometimes—by joining a beauty pageant that I never imagined myself participating at (and winning 1st runner up!), and lastly, I have met a new family by joining the YFC-HSI’s youth camp held in Carmona, Cavite. The list goes on, actually but then I wouldn’t want to bore you considering that you’ve read 3 paragraphs all focusing on me so I will just bombard you with photos.
These are the little things that I enjoyed during the 1st semester.

The thing is, it doesn’t matter what course you’re taking or what school you’re at for as long as you make the most out of everything. Great company works too. :)
